Continuing on our summer show outings we started the month travelling down the road to Bath Championship Show with Mars under breed specialist Pauline Luxmoore-Ball (full breed results here) Mars won limit class and then went on to win reserve dog CC. The following week saw another local trip to Bournemouth Champ Show, Mars won his limit class and went on to win his first CC under breed specialist Sarah Robinson (full breed results here). Well done Mars Bar! '1st: EVANS, Mrs L & EVANS, Mr M Eversepp Arizona at Demoneira CC now fully mature as he knocks on the door of being a youthful veteran, excellent condition & beautifully presented, good feet and bone, strong masculine head, good ear, nice eye, balanced angulation, good height to length, well moved. Stormed in and owned the challenge, constantly taking my eye, so couldn’t be denied the top honors, exemplifies a dual purpose Siberian, offering fun in the ring and focus on the trail'. Mars is a great all round dog and sleddog. His movement is so sound, a lovely temperament and bags of the magic, special quality of drive in harness.  This month we have visited friends and had some relaxing camping holidays with the dogs at AMWA Summer camp in Suffolk and while we were in the area popped to Forstal to get the flups sized up for their made to measure harnesses from Ali Koops at Sass all ready for their first racing season. We also attended the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain Championship Show and Mars had a great result of a second place in veteran class under breed specialist Sharon Jones (Icynights). It was a fun day spent with lots of friends and quality siberians.  The dogs continue to have their free run leg stretches at the off lead dog field and its so much fun watching them really stretch out and playing! Temps down south are starting to play ball - let running season commence!
