The weeks are rolling past so quickly and we are having lots of fun on the trails with our dogs, we even managed to slip in a few dog shows and we started the month at South Wales Kennel Association under breed specialist Pauline Amphlett from the Sybasprinter kennel. Not to be outdone by her buddy Mars, Pickle placed first in a beautiful limit class and gained her stud book number. Full show results here Mar's stud book number certificate came in the post and we are looking forward to Pickle's arriving! Limit 1st Evan’s Zarchenski Schooner Pickle at Demoneira. 3.5 yrs, gorgeous girl that ticked all the boxes for me. Keen, alert expression, blue eyes and a lovely dark face. Liked the angle of her shoulder, excellent angulations front and rear, firm topline on the move, gently slope on the croup with good tail carriage. Extremely sound coming and going, light footed and covered the ground with ease. Very well handled and presented by her owner to win her class today. Breed Specialist (Sybasprinter) Pauline Amphlett SWKA Oct 2017 Later in the month we attended Midland Counties Championship show under Siberian Husky Breed Specialist David Williams (Salazka) and Mars wins RCC. We are very proud of our fit for function dogs! Full results here Evans, Eversepp Arizona At Demoneira. “Seppala” coloured boy who caught my eye when he entered the ring. Another one who had solid construction. Very well muscled and moved superbly once settled. Handler had to work hard to keep him controlled, but it worked, well done! Deserved the RCC today despite stiff competition. RCC Zinny pup continues to do well. She's a live wire but once she started running in harness and having had her first season she seems to have matured and settled got her sleddog 'zen' and she is loving life as an official sleddog! Running wise we have had to really pick our windows of opportunity down South to get the colder temps so we have been getting out at least three times a week at all kinds of hours. Hopefully the temps will settle so we can have a nice routine, we like to do two days on, two off but we are training when temps are sensible. Zinny is having a good amount of 'hook up' experience and 'distraction' training with pheasants so that has been good and the dogs are coming along well. As well as working in harness our dogs are our companions and they enjoy cuddles on the sofas, one on one walkies to the beach and free running in secure areas, they also go to the odd show for a day out too and enjoy lots of treats and usually some ice cream. It's important to us they they lead a full well rounded life and we enjoy every aspect of life with our dogs and they in turn are happy dogs! Comments are closed.
