Temperatures continue to be favourable for lots of lovely runs with the dogs and we have enjoyed a few trips to shows. Starting with a local open show, Mars wins his post graduate class under Siberian Husky Breed specialist judge Jenna Cooper and went on to win reserve best of breed. Mars even earnt himself some pocket money! Pickle placed VHC and Zinny had a nice social day and made lots of new friends. 1st/RBOB: Eversepp Arizona At Demoneira- 2 and half year old Agouti male. Have admired this boy for some time now and he just gets better each time I see him. Beautiful masculine head with piercing blue eyes, lovely shape which are obliquely set. Good ear set. Well laid back shoulder with very good front and rear angulation. Well muscled- Level top line on the stand and on the move. Moved with power around the ring, yet light on his feet. Pushed hard for BOB, just felt the bitch had the edge in the challenge. Will watch his progress in the ring as I’m sure he will go far. Demoneira Dogs have offlead fun @ Eva's Green secure field.Pickle and Mars had a weekend away to bonnie Scotland and attended the Scottish Kennel Club Champ show Sibe results here. The originial judge was Mary Davidson (Sassicaia) but after entries closed there was a change of judge to Georgia Lawrence (Alascotia). We all had a lovely weekend with our roadtrip buddies Jenna and the Jankscoo pups and we were delighted that both dogs got placed. Pickle placed second in the biggest class of the day and Mars a third. Good doggies! Matt went wild camping on Exmoor with the other doggies and they had a fun weekend with long walks, camping out and eating BBQ!
2ND:EVANS ZARCHENSKI SCHOONER PICKLE AT DEMONEIRA Black & white, another with close coat and clean outline, tidy on the move, parallel fore and aft. Good head and earset, tail carried well, just preferred the eye shape on winner. Georgia Lappin-Lawrence SKC May 2017 Zinny was 6 months old on 27th May and continues to grow putting on 1kg a week, it feels like she has always been with us! No harness work yet, we want to give her a bit more time and temperatures aren't favourable this far down south but she is learning to stand 'tidy' in a harness with the others hooked up after the big dogs have come back from a run. Bath Champ Show Mars and Pickle popped up the road to Bath Champ Show both in PG classes. Mars placed second and Pickle a reserve. There was a lovely atmosphere around the ring and was a great day for catching up with friends. Comments are closed.
