Our last rally in November was the BSA two day rally at Ringwood Forest. This season we are keeping rallies fairly local as Matt is on several courses with work and has a trip planned to Canada which was due to be in December but has been postponed due to lack of snow in the area he is doing his Winter survival teaching, so keeping rallies local mean If Matt is away It is not too far for me to drive with all the dogs. This brings us to the BSA Ringwood rally which is about a two and a half hour drive for us from home. One thing we really look at during training is the movement of the dogs and length of stride whilst in harness to really help pick balanced teams and we are delighted with the above picture as it shows how effortless and synchronised the movement of a team can be when dogs are well matched. Taking pictures and videos of movement really helps us with choosing teams and, picking positions. At Ringwood Forest Matt had a few issues on the 2.9 mile trail and came in third place and my boys Snik and Snak took us to fourth place on the 1.7 miles (trails shortened because of temperatures) Hux and Ton had a lovely jolly in the forest in the rec class and the puppies enjoyed attention and cuddles and are coming on beautifully. BSA Ringwood had a really nice atmosphere and we all had a lovely time.
