The shortest month of the year was enjoyed by lots of runs and we are starting to notice the lighter evenings, spring is one her way! This month we had an adventure to the flatlands of Thetford Forest where we had an awesome time at a three day UK dryland sprint race held by the British Siberian Husky Racing Association. We really mixed and matched the teams up this weekend and Matt did well in the two dog class, I ran in the three and had a jolly time, although had a mishap one of the days after Pickle managed to get out of her harness during a pass. Which was fun! all sorted but took time to sort out and put her harness back on whilst holding on to excited dogs who just wanted to run. Matt then ran in my place in the three dog on the last day and managed to go up about ten places! I have a slight medical issue which I think the dogs may be picking up on and my confidence is affected I think, I also just can't help them as much as I would like so have decided to let Matt run the teams for the rest of the season until my operation in March.
